Job summary

Persol Singapore is seeking a design support engineer to assist in the development and evaluation of battery cell innovations. You will work with engineers to draft designs, run tests, and support scale-up efforts.

This role emphasizes analytical thinking, teamwork, and adherence to safety. You will engage in NPI activities, collaborate with QA and sales, and help improve quality and productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Material or Chemical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical, project management and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and proactive teamwork.
• Ability to stay positive in challenging environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in planning and formulating action plans.
• Draft design drawings and technical standards under supervision.
• Conduct cell analysis and evaluation.
• Analyze results from engineering tests.
• Execute sample creation, line trials or test runs.
• Manage sample shipments effectively.
• Support NPI processes for battery cells.
• Engage in design reviews and standardization to improve quality.
• Collaborate with QA and sales on inquiries and investigations.
