Murata Electronics Singapore (Pte) Ltd is seeking a Process Engineer to advance Li-ion battery processes with specialized knowledge. The role involves coordinating with Japan HQ, aligning strategies, and building process know-how to contribute to Murata's global battery business.

The candidate will lead quality improvements, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, and train local engineers, while maintaining strong cross-cultural communication with Japan factories and R&D departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or science.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in electronic manufacturing.
• Deep & specialized knowledge in Li-ion batteries for process improvement.
• Logical thinking, analytical mind, and strong engineering sense.
• Excellent communication and teamwork across languages and cultures.

Responsibilities

• Policy, strategy alignment, and coordination of PJT with Japan HQ or group companies.
• Initiate periodic meetings with Japan HQ to solve division issues.
• Accumulate design/process know-how for the global battery business.
• Lead process and quality improvements reflecting customer feedback.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement data-driven solutions.
• Train and educate local engineers; facilitate knowledge transfer.
