This role focuses on drinks preparation and service, guest recommendations, and maintaining cleanliness, with both full-time and part-time positions available in a lively setting near Marina Bay.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mise en place for drinks and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Assist in setting up dining service and handle operating equipment.
• Attend guests and provide food and beverage recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and timely service.
• Maintain good communication with team.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

A two-storied modern Italian trattoria and rooftop bar based in Esplanade by the Marina Bay waterfront, open since 2013. Popular for our signature thin crust pizzas, pastas and grill dishes. With an open kitchen that spans 12 meters across, this allows our chefs to enjoy a dynamic work environment, where the dining ambience and guests interactions could be observed.

Our restaurant has a greater focus on fresh in-house such as handmade pasta, baked sourdough bread, sauces and more. Along with the restaurant is our own brand - ARKTOS GELATO with a cold dessert kitchen right next to the restaurant, where our gelatos are freshly made from scratch.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare mise en place for all the drinks, make and serve drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic)
• Assist in setting up for dining service and ensure proper handling of all operating equipment
• Attend to guests and provide food and beverage recommendations based on their preference and dietary requirements.
• Maintaining cleanliness and timely services are rendered to guests at all times
• Maintaining good communication
• Other ad hoc as assigned by Superior

Requirements:

• Team player and able to work on Weekends/Public Holiday
• Good communication and interpersonal skill
• Singaporeans & PR only as we do not have quota for foreign applicant
• Prior bar experience will be advantageous.
