Job summary

Inter Island Manpower Pte Ltd invites applications for a Barista at our Marina Bay/Orchard location. You will prepare coffee and cafe beverages to company standards, and deliver welcoming customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role suits someone with a passion for coffee and strong communication. O-Level qualification is required; training will be provided. This is a full-time position with rotating shifts, and uniform is provided upon shortlisting.

Qualifications

• Minimum O-Level qualification.
• Previous barista experience is preferred but not mandatory (training will be provided).
• Passion for coffee and customer service.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee and café beverages according to company standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service and create a welcoming café experience.
• Recommend menu items and merchandise to customers.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and café cleanliness.
• Operate and maintain coffee equipment.
• Handle cashiering and payment transactions.
• Monitor inventory, replenish stock, and receive deliveries.
• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth café operations.
• Possess basic knowledge of coffee beans, brewing techniques, grinder calibration, and latte art.
