Job summary

SG HOTELS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced F&B Supervisor to support the Food & Beverage Manager in daily restaurant and bar operations.

You will lead service staff and bartenders, conduct pre-shift briefings, and ensure service standards, hygiene, and safety compliance. You will coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to deliver seamless service, monitor guest satisfaction, and train staff in beverage knowledge, upselling, and cost-conscious inventory practices.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role in Food & Beverage, including bar operations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and bar service standards.
• Understanding of responsible alcohol service and local regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Basic financial, POS, and inventory management skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the F&B Manager in day-to-day restaurant and bar operations.
• Supervise service staff and bartenders to maintain high standards.
• Conduct daily pre-shift briefings and allocate duties.
• Assist with staff scheduling and manpower planning.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve complaints promptly.
• Ensure compliance with service, hygiene, safety, and alcohol regulations.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for seamless service.
• Oversee bar operations: beverage quality, presentation, cleanliness.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service and regulatory compliance.
• Train and coach staff on service techniques and upselling.
• Maintain outlet setup and cleanliness; manage billing procedures.
• Provide hands-on support during peak periods.
• Prepare daily/weekly beverage and bar supply orders.
• Check deliveries against purchase orders; manage stock and variances.
• Support inventory control and cost-saving initiatives.
• Communicate with management and other departments to resolve issues.
