Job summary

pacquelin pte. ltd. in Singapore seeks a hands-on Venue Manager to oversee daily operations for a premium cocktail bar and fine dining setting. You will lead front-of-house and bar teams, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and ensure compliance with food safety and licensing.

You will manage reservations, staff schedules, costs, and supplier relationships while collaborating with the Chef-Owner to develop concepts and events that elevate the brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a managerial role within premium hospitality venues.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and Champagne.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily venue operations to ensure smooth, efficient service.
• Lead, train, mentor, and motivate front-of-house and bar teams.
• Manage reservations, guest relations, and VIP clientele.
• Maintain beverage quality and service standards through regular monitoring.
• Monitor inventory, place stock orders, control beverage costs, and manage suppliers.
• Prepare staff schedules and manage labour costs to optimise efficiency.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop team members to build a skilled workforce.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore’s food safety, licensing, and workplace safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the Chef-Owner and management on concepts, events, and guest experiences.
• Support marketing initiatives, private events, and promotional activities.
• Monitor sales performance and identify revenue growth opportunities.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues promptly.
