Job summary

Wyndham Singapore Hotel is seeking a dedicated Banquet Supervisor to oversee event service operations in our banquet and ballrooms. You will lead servers, bartenders, and support staff, ensuring flawless setup, service, and breakdown across diverse events.

Responsibilities include staff training on etiquette and brand standards, maintaining uniform and hygiene compliance, and coordinating with Sales, F&B, housekeeping, and AV teams to meet client requirements. Weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading banquet service teams in a hotel or events setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and guest requests with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Review BEOs, contracts, floor plans and timelines before events.

Responsibilities

• Supervise banquet servers, bartenders, and housemen during setup, service, and breakdown
• Train staff on service etiquette, tray-carrying, menu knowledge, and hotel brand standards
• Inspect servers on their uniform attire compliance, personal hygiene, and punctuality
• Inspect ballrooms, tables, linens and AV equipment to ensure it is clean and functioning well
• Oversees tear-down, food leftover inventory, return AV/equipment to storage, checking of function rooms
• Greet and meet up with event hosts, organizers throughout the function and address their special requests
• Resolve guest complaints and/or service delays
• Check and report any broken or missing items to engineering
• Coordinate and work closely with Sales, F&B team, housekeeping, engineering and AV staff
• Review BEOs, client contracts, floor plans, timeline schedules and special requirements before every event

Requirements

• 2 years of hands-on experience in hotel banquet operations
• Able to work on weekends, public holidays and shifts
• Possess valid Food Safety Certification
• Proactive, meticulous and excellent interpersonal skills
