Job summary

• Analyze legacy datasets to identify discrepancies, gaps, and duplicates.
• Design data cleansing strategies and pre-migration remediation with business units.
• Establish data issue tracking and central error logs to manage risks.
• Create reconciliation frameworks and variance check rules for parallel runs.
• Formulate data testing strategies and support UAT for data migration.
• Contribute to data migration cutover strategy and go-live execution.
• Provide analytical support during post-implementation phases.

Job description

Data Requirements and Mapping

• Elicit and document complex business rules, data requirements, and functional specifications which includes Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documentation to define precise data transformation logic and data lineage from legacy systems to the target platform.

• Collaborate with process owners, data stewards, data and technology teams to identify critical data elements.

Data Quality, Cleansing, Reconciliation, and Testing

• Analyze legacy datasets to identify, isolate, and remediate data discrepancies, anomalies, gaps, and duplications.

• Facilitate data cleansing strategies and pre-migration remediation efforts with business units to ensure high-quality data readiness.

• Establish data issue tracking protocols and maintain centralized error logs to manage risks and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.

• Design and configure comprehensive reconciliation frameworks, controls, and variance check rules to validate data integrity during parallel runs.

• Formulate data test strategies and assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for data migration to guarantee functional correctness, data completeness, and business sign-off.

Cutover and Support

• Contribute to the execution of the data migration cutover strategy, orchestration, and sequential runbooks.

• Provide dedicated analytical support during critical go-live execution windows and post-implementation phases.
