Job summary

Peoplebank Hong Kong Limited is seeking a Banking Operations Analyst to support account opening for the bank's eBrokerage product in Singapore. The role involves reviewing applications, performing KYC checks and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely processing.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Business Administration, Banking & Finance and demonstrates strong communication, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. Overtime may be required for project support.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business Administration, Banking & Finance or other relevant disciplines.
• Prior experience in banking operations, account opening, KYC, client onboarding or financial services administration will be an advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented and able to identify discrepancies in documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• A proactive team player with good organisational and follow-up skills.
• Willing to work overtime or on weekends when required to support business activities and projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide account opening support for the bank's eBrokerage product.
• Review customer account opening applications to ensure all required documents and information are complete and accurate.

• Identify and rectify documentation discrepancies in accordance with established procedures.
• Ensure all account opening processes comply with the bank's Risk and Control policies and procedures.
• Perform scanning, indexing and data management of account opening applications.
• Handle the filing, archival and warehousing of customer applications and related documentation.
• Provide additional operational support and participate in projects or business activities when required.
