Qualifications

• Diploma in Business Administration, Banking & Finance or other relevant disciplines.
• Prior experience in banking operations, account opening, KYC, client onboarding or financial services administration will be an advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented and able to identify discrepancies in documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• A proactive team player with good organisational and follow-up skills.
• Willing to work overtime or on weekends when required to support business activities and projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide account opening support for the bank's eBrokerage product.
• Review customer account opening applications to ensure all required documents and information are complete and accurate.
• Perform application checks, including KYC verification and customer suitability assessments.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to address enquiries regarding account opening procedures, application status and processing timelines.
• Monitor and track application progress, following up on outstanding or missing documentation to ensure timely completion.
• Identify and rectify documentation discrepancies in accordance with established procedures.
• Ensure all account opening processes comply with the bank's Risk and Control policies and procedures.
• Perform scanning, indexing and data management of account opening applications.
• Handle the filing, archival and warehousing of customer applications and related documentation.
• Provide additional operational support and participate in projects or business activities when required.
