Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd invites applications for a Loans Executive at DBS Asia Gateway, Jurong East. This 12-month contract centers on redemption processing and system updates for Secured Loans, with daily tasks and team collaborations.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Business/Finance, a keen interest in banking operations, and a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges. Working hours are Mon–Fri, 9 AM–6 PM.

Responsibilities

• Create redemption records and update systems for Secured Loans.
• Process redemption of Secured Loans.
• Prepare instructions, payments, statements & notification letters to customers/law firm.
• Perform completeness checks on transactions & documents.
• Perform system report checks daily, weekly and monthly.
• Handle filing of source reports and media and arrange for archival.
• Handle customer/lawyer inquiries.
• Participate in ad hoc projects assigned by Team Manager.
• Ensure requests are processed within service standards with high quality.
• Highlight discrepancies to the Team Manager/Supervisor.
• Support the Team Manager/Supervisor for smooth operation of the team.
• Assist in workflow improvements and risk mitigation initiatives.

Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 9AM-6PM

Location: DBS Asia Gateway (Jurong East)

Salary Range: Up to $4,500 (based on salary benchmark)

• Perform redemption record creation and system updating in Bank’s operating systems relating to Secured Loans.
• Process loan redemption processing relating to Secured Loans.
• Prepare instructions, payment, statements & notification letters to customers/law firm
• Perform completeness check on transactions & documents
• Perform system report checks on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Handle filing of source reports & media and arranging for archival.
• Handle customer / lawyer’s enquiries
• Participate in adhoc project assigned by Team Manager
• Ensure all requests are processed within specified Service standard, timely and accurately. Ensure high quality level in services delivery
• To highlight any discrepancy / deviation to the Team Manager/ Supervisor.
• Support the Team Manager/Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of the team /department
• Assist Team Manager / supervisor by providing ideas/initiatives in improving the existing workflow and identify operational risks and implement measures to address / mitigate the risk
