Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an accomplished bakery sales specialist to drive growth, manage key accounts and expand the customer base across bakeries, food manufacturers, and distributors.

You will conduct product presentations, build strong relationships, and close deals while delivering excellent after-sales service. You will maintain proactive communication with customers, tailor solutions to needs, and travel to client sites as required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience in the bakery industry.
• Experience selling to bakeries, food manufacturers or food service customers.
• Existing bakery/food industry contacts and customer network will be an advantage.
• Strong business development and customer relationship management skill.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented.
• Valid Class 3 driving licence and willing to travel for customer visits.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and achieve sales targets within the bakery and food industry.
• Develop and manage existing customer accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with bakeries, food manufacturers, distributors and other food industry customers.
• Proactively develop new accounts and expand the company’s customer base.
• Promote and sell the company’s food ingredients and related products.
• Conduct customer visits, product presentations and sales meetings.
• Understand customers’ requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and close sales.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activities.
• Attend trade shows, exhibitions and industry events to generate new business leads.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and updates for management.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and excellent after-sales service.
• Follow up on sales leads and maintain strong customer satisfaction.
