About the role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker/Barista to join the team at Cheeky Times Pte Ltd. This is a full-time position based in Upper Thomson, Central Region. As a Baker, you will play a vital role in our bakery operations, bringing creativity, precision, and dedication to the production of high-quality baked goods. Your work will directly impact the quality of products we deliver to our customers and contribute to the success of our business.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and mixing dough and batter according to established recipes and quality standards

• Operating and managing bakery equipment, including ovens, mixers, and other machinery

• Shaping, forming and decorating baked goods such as breads, pastries, cakes, and other confectionery items

• Monitoring baking times and temperatures to ensure consistent quality and appearance of finished products

• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety throughout the baking process

• Receiving and checking ingredients for quality and freshness

• Packaging and labelling finished products appropriately for display and sale

• Collaborating with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines

• Cleaning and maintaining all bakery equipment and work surfaces

• Following all food safety regulations and company procedures

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar baking role within a commercial bakery setting

• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and recipes

• Proficiency in operating bakery equipment and machinery safely and effectively

• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce consistent, high-quality products

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines

• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards

• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items

• Time management skills and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

• Relevant qualifications or certifications in baking or food handling are advantageous

• Flexibility to work early morning shifts, as bakery operations often require early starts
