Job summary

Paradigm Recruitment is seeking staff for a high-security Cashroom environment in Singapore. You will count, verify, and reconcile large volumes of cash and luxury valuables for global banks and corporate clients, with strict data entry and security procedures.

The role requires physical endurance for 12-hour shifts (8am-8pm or 8pm-8am), ability to lift up to 22kg, and adherence to Safety Controls and SOPs while maintaining accurate audit trails and timely end-of-day closeout paperwork.

• Security & SOP Compliance: adhere to Security Controls and SOPs to mitigate loss or damage.
• End-of-Day Closeout: finalise paperwork, bundle trash, and file records.

Job description

Working within a high-security Cashroom environment, this role is responsible for counting, verifying, and reconciling large volumes of cash and luxury valuables transported for global banks and corporate clients. It combines meticulous administrative data entry with demanding physical labor under strict security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Currency Processing & Reconciliation:Process, verify, and reconcile inbound and outbound currency transactions. Prepare outbound currency orders and replenishments.

• System Data Entry:Log all transaction details into internal systems and handle check imaging utilizing specific software (Nautilus, BTMS, VTM).

• Discrepancy Escalation:Monitor balances continuously; identify and instantly report any financial discrepancies to the shift supervisor to maintain an accurate audit trail.

• Security & SOP Compliance:Strictly adhere to the company’s Security Controls and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to mitigate any risk of loss or property damage.

• End-of-Day Closeout:Clean workstations, bundle trash per protocol, sort payment slips, print check manifests, and ensure all paperwork is properly filed.

Physical Capacity

• Heavy Lifting:Must be physically strong and fit enough to lift and carry up to22kg (50 lbs)of cash or luxury goods.

• Endurance:Ability to stand for long periods throughout the day.

Work Environment: Aircon. Pls note that all employees will walk through a detector and may be pat down by security guard(lady) whenever they go in and out of the money room. They are not allowed to use phone(can bring in) or any devices in that room.

Workdays: 4-day work week, may need to work on weekends, depending on shift rotation
