Job summary

Marina Bay Sands in Singapore is seeking a Casino Cashier to handle cash floats, cash-in/cash-out of gaming chips, and FX transactions with accuracy. You will balance the float at shift end and support chip transfers, while delivering friendly service to guests.

Training is provided; shift work including mornings, afternoons, overnights, and public holidays may apply. Education of secondary level is preferred, and experience with cash and currency handling is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in handling cash and foreign exchange preferred.
• Able to operate electronic cashier equipment and maintain accuracy.
• Strong numeracy and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Balance cash float and reconcile to the system at shift end.
• Cash-in/cash-out gaming chips and FX transactions.
• Process vouchers, tickets, and refunds with accuracy and courtesy.
• Manage chip transfers and maintain chip bank balances.
• Provide friendly service to internal and external customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Being responsible for an impress inventory of cash float
• Perform various financial transactions, in support of the Casino Table Games Operations, Slot Operations and the casino Guests playing in these areas, including:
• Cash-in/ Cash-Out gaming chips
• Perform foreign currency exchangeRedeem Slot Machine payout tickets/TITO/ vouchers for cash/cash equivalent
• Perform patron account transactions (safe keeping/front money deposits & refunds)
• Check cashing, check/marker redemptions and consolidations
• Perform credit card and EFTPOS cash advances
• Perform Rolling Chip Exchanges
• Other cashier tasks as required
• At completion of the shift, balance float and bring it back to the impress amount
• Conduct Team Member Bank functions accurately
• Preparation of table fills/ receiving table credits
• Handling chip transfers between front window, fill banks. main banks.
• Balance the inventory of Chip Bank to the casino computer system, account for all chip movements in and out of the Chip Bank
• Maintain accurate and legible balance sheets
• Provide friendly, efficient and courteous service to all internal and external customers.
• Perform all duties in accordance with Company policies and within the realm of the Company's corporate values.

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

• Secondary education preferred

Experience

• No experience required as training will be provided

Other Prerequisites

• Experience in handling cash and foreign exchange currencies preferred
• Able to operate electronic cashier equipment (e.g. note counters, counterfeit detectors)
• Able to communicate effectively
• Possess a flair for numericals and excellent service and communication skills
• Willing to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and overnight, as well as on public holidays
