Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd, a Singapore headquartered technology consultancy, seeks a Backend-Focused Full-Stack Engineer to design and develop core backend services for a cloud-based digital platform. The role centers on APIs, database, business logic, and workflows, working closely with the technical lead and other engineers.

You will implement API endpoints with Node.js and TypeScript, deploy in AWS, and contribute to CI/CD.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Backend stack expertise: Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js or NestJS.
• Strong PostgreSQL and SQL skills with relational modelling.
• Experience designing REST APIs.
• Familiarity with OAuth2/OIDC and JWT-based auth.
• Experience with AWS-hosted deployments and services.
• Knowledge of secure coding and OWASP Top 10.
• Experience with testing (unit, API, integration).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop core backend services for a cloud-based digital platform.
• Build and maintain APIs, database schemas, and business logic.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, and infrastructure teams.
• Support deployment in AWS environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Address security findings from code and dependency scans.
