Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd is seeking a talented software engineer to join our growing team in Singapore. You will deliver full-stack web and mobile features using React/TypeScript and Node.js, while integrating with APIs and enterprise systems.

You will design data access layers, work with PostgreSQL/MySQL, and containerize apps with Docker for AWS deployments. Join a collaborative, Agile environment focused on quality, security and impact.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer/Software Engineering or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• Experience with React/TypeScript frontend and Node.js backend services/APIs preferred.
• Hands-on React Native or mobile app feature delivery experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive web interfaces using React and TypeScript, and mobile features with React Native.
• Build and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Node.js (Express/NestJS).
• Integrate web/mobile clients with APIs, third-party services and enterprise systems.
• Design data access logic and work with PostgreSQL/MySQL and object storage.
• Write unit/integration tests; participate in code reviews and maintain quality standards.
• Use Git-based workflows and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test and deployment.
• Containerize applications with Docker and deploy to AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS).
• Apply secure coding practices including authentication/authorization and OWASP guidance.
• Troubleshoot defects and production issues; support SIT/UAT and releases.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with UX, QA, DevOps, product and architecture teams.
