Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd is seeking a Software Engineer (Full Stack) on a 1-year fixed-term contract to lead delivery of a cloud-based platform. You will collaborate with an in-house architect, PO, BA, UI/UX, QA, and infra teams to design, build, and deploy scalable solutions in AWS.

The ideal candidate combines strong frontend skills with Node.js experience, API design, security best practices, and CI/CD expertise. You will mentor a small team and drive quality, performance, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in building frontend and backend components for cloud-based platforms.
• Strong knowledge of React.js and TypeScript for scalable UI development.
• Proficiency with Node.js, Express.js or NestJS for backend services.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases and data modelling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of a cloud-based platform with architects and product teams.
• Translate architecture into frontend/backend designs and enforce engineering standards.
• Develop and maintain frontend, API and deployment components.
• Design secure REST APIs and integration patterns for internal and external modules.
• Ensure CI/CD pipelines and secure coding practices are applied.
