Job summary

TikTok’s LIVE Core Services team in Singapore builds the foundational services of the global live streaming platform, handling rooms, users, and leaderboards across a multi-datacenter setup. You will tackle data consistency, disaster recovery, and large-scale service governance to ensure a stable and efficient system.

Candidates should be proficient in backend languages and microservices, with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• Proficient in at least one backend language (Go/Java/C++/Python).
• Strong logical thinking and problem decomposition skills.
• Self-driven learning ability and curiosity about systems.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, development, and optimization of live streaming core services.
• Contribute to stability initiatives including disaster recovery, monitoring, fault detection, and recovery capabilities.
• Drive service architecture governance and push for evolution of engineering standards.
• Participate in AI-driven evolution of system architecture and data pipelines.
