TikTok is seeking passionate engineering interns to join our live streaming platform team in Singapore. You will work on real-time, high-performance, large-scale distributed infrastructure and contribute to critical features alongside product managers.

This internship offers hands-on experience across the development lifecycle, exposure to cross-functional teams, and opportunities to participate in assessments and social events.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in software, CS, or related engineering field.
• Proficient in Go, Python, Java, or C++.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and computer architecture; familiarity with databases and messaging systems like MySQL/Redis/Kafka.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and communicate effectively.
• Self-driven, enthusiastic, and eager to learn continuously.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve TikTok Wallet and payment system for a stable, robust in-app wallet.
• Enhance system design and architecture to ensure high stability and performance of the product.
• Develop large-scale software systems powering the TikTok app.
