Job summary

TikTok LIVE Core Services team in Singapore builds the foundational services of the global live streaming platform, covering rooms, users and leaderboards for tens of millions of concurrent users. You will tackle data consistency, disaster recovery and large-scale service governance across a multi-datacenter environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field with strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, operating systems and networking.
• Proficient in at least one backend language (Go/Java/C++/Python) and familiar with microservices and patterns.
• Strong problem decomposition and willingness to dive into fundamental systems.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, development, and optimization of live streaming core services to improve system quality and efficiency.
• Contribute to stability initiatives for critical live streaming scenarios, including disaster recovery design and monitoring enhancements.
• Drive service architecture governance, identify risks, and push architecture evolution and standards.
• Participate in AI-driven evolution of system architecture and data pipelines.
