Job summary

Monee is seeking a Backend Engineer to translate business needs into robust, secure backend services for our digital banking platform. You will design, develop, and optimize server-side components, leveraging C++ or Python, and collaborate with product managers to deliver high-performance, scalable solutions in a fintech environment.

You'll work with databases such as MySQL and messaging systems like Redis and Kafka, while exploring AI-assisted tooling and modern infrastructure (K8s) to improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 1 year of backend development with C++ or Python.
• Experience with agentic AI or Harness Engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, development, and optimization of backend services.
• Contribute to server-side architecture for scalable distributed systems.
• Translate business needs into technical designs with cross-functional teams.
• Optimize performance, stability, and resource usage under high concurrency.
• Develop internal tooling and automation to improve R&D efficiency.
