Qualifications

• 3+ years building and operating backend services in production.
• Proficient Python development for backend services and APIs.
• Proficient C#/.NET application development.
• Strong SQL experience with PostgreSQL design, query optimization, and migrations.
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with asynchronous processing and message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Experience designing REST APIs consumed by other services.
• Experience with automated testing and CI practices.
• Experience with containerized deployment (C).
• Experience with observability: metrics, logs, tracing.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools in software development.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Implement, test, and operate backend services and APIs for our AI platform.
• Build and maintain asynchronous processing with retry, idempotency, and dead-letter handling.
• Contribute to data pipelines ingesting, parsing, storing, and indexing documents.
• Implement OAuth2/OIDC/SAML authentication and authorization for multi-tenant environments.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries; perform migrations on live traffic.
• Integrate search and vector storage technologies like Solr and Qdrant.
• Instrument services with metrics, logs, and traces; participate in on-call rotations.
• Write automated tests, conduct code reviews, and maintain CI pipelines.
• Contribute to technical design documents and participate in design reviews.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, backend engineers, product management, and security stakeholders.
