Job summary

Search Index Pte Ltd seeks an experienced Senior Network Engineer to manage enterprise network infrastructure in a 24/7 production environment. You will design, install, monitor, and optimize routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers across on-prem and AWS cloud connectivity.

The role emphasizes hybrid connectivity (VPC, VPN, Direct Connect), security controls, incident analysis, DR planning, and close collaboration with vendors.

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in CS/IT or related field.
3+ years in enterprise network engineering or operations.
Hands-on AWS networking with VPCs, subnets, VPN, Direct Connect.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network security.
Certs such as CCNA/CCNP or AWS CloudOps are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Manage and support enterprise network infrastructure in a 24/7 production environment.
Install, configure, maintain, and monitor network hardware and software for high availability and performance.
Design, implement, and support hybrid connectivity between on-premises and AWS, including VPC, VPN, and Direct Connect.
Configure and maintain network security controls such as firewalls, security groups, and ACLs.
Monitor performance, troubleshoot connectivity and latency issues; perform RCA and incident management.
