Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in CS/IT or related field.
• 3+ years in enterprise network engineering or operations.
• Hands-on AWS networking with VPCs, subnets, VPN, Direct Connect.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network security.
• Certs such as CCNA/CCNP or AWS CloudOps are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Job Scope:

• Manage and support enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers in a 24/7 production environment
• Install, configure, maintain, and monitor network hardware and software to ensure high availability and optimal performance
• Design, implement, and support hybrid connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and AWS cloud environments, including VPC, VPN, and Direct Connect
• Configure and maintain network security controls such as firewalls, security groups, network segmentation, and access control
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and network-related issue
• Support incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and network recovery activities
• Implement network changes following change management procedures, including validation and rollback planning
• Coordinate with telecom providers, vendors, and external partners for connectivity, provisioning, and issue resolution
• Support disaster recovery (DR), business continuity planning, and failover testing
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and recommend continuous improvements
• Provide after-hours support for planned maintenance, deployments, and critical incidents when required

Requirements:

• Possess a Degree / Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology or a related discipline
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer - Associate, Check Point, or Fortinet are advantageous
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in enterprise network engineering or network operations within hybrid (on-premises and cloud) environments
• Hands-on experience with AWS networking, including VPC, subnets, route tables, security groups, NACLs, VPN, and Direct Connect
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, VPNs, and network security best practices
• Experience managing enterprise firewalls (e.g. Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Check Point) and load balancers
• Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, CloudWatch, Wireshark, and traceroute
• Experience supporting high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity environments
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Able to work independently and provide after-hours support when required
