Job summary

OCBC Group Singapore is seeking an AVP in Group Strategy & Governance (Group Legal) to drive strategic initiatives at the intersection of legal, technology, data and governance. You will partner with legal teams and stakeholders to improve how legal services are managed and delivered across the Group.

The role focuses on legal transformation, digitalisation, AI-enabled solutions, policy governance and oversight of subsidiary legal teams, with opportunities to influence processes and delivery

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline (Law, Business, Finance, Economics or Information Systems)
• Professional experience in strategy, transformation, governance, project management or business management, preferably in financial services
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across functions and levels
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, exercise sound judgement and own deliverables
• Comfort with technology, data and AI-enabled solutions; interest in process improvement and transformation
• Self-motivated, adaptable and collaborative with a strong sense of accountability

Responsibilities

• Support legal transformation, digitalisation, AI/ADD and technology-related initiatives across Group Legal.
• Coordinate development, review and management of Group Legal policies and governance frameworks.
• Support oversight and governance of subsidiary legal teams, including reporting and coordination of key matters.
• Support strategic projects and initiatives, including research, analysis, project management and stakeholder coordination.
• Identify and support opportunities to improve processes and ways of working across Group Legal.
