Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in securities finance operations, preferably within a bank or financial institution.
• Strong understanding of securities lending, borrowing, repo transactions, and collateral management.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and market practices in securities finance.
• Proficiency in trade lifecycle management, settlement processes, and reconciliations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
• Leadership experience or potential to lead a team is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Oversee the daily processing of securities lending, borrowing, and repo transactions.
• Ensure accurate and timely settlement of trades, reconciliation of positions, and resolution of discrepancies.
• Familiar with Corporate Action event types, their application to the trade, and settlement
• Manage collateral movements, margin calls, and substitution requests in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor collateral valuations and ensure appropriate collateral coverage and haircuts are applied.
• Collateral and margin settlement, month end fee and interest payment
• Identify and elevate operational risks and exceptions in securities finance activities.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines (e.g., SEC, MAS, HKMA) and internal controls.
• Support audit and regulatory reviews by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency through automation, process redesign, and technology adoption.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to implement system enhancements and resolve operational issues.
• Act as a liaison between front office, middle office, risk, legal, and external counterparties to ensure smooth transaction flow.
• Provide timely and accurate reporting to management and external parties as required.
• Mentor junior team members and oversee their daily activities to ensure high-quality output.
• Participate in training and development programs to upskill the team.
