OCBC Group is seeking an AVP, Risk Technology Development in Singapore to design, build, and optimize data infrastructure supporting risk management. You will develop SQL Server databases, ETL pipelines, and reporting solutions, ensuring performance, security, and data quality in a complex, high-transaction environment.

The role requires 5+ years in software development, strong SQL expertise, experience with SSIS/SSRS, and familiarity with data governance.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of software development experience, preferably in risk management or financial services.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (2018+) and SQL scripting.
• Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and other ETL or reporting tools.
• Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and security standards.
• Experience with large, high-transaction datasets and data modelling.
• Knowledge of Power BI or similar data visualization tools is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases, tables, views, functions, and stored procedures.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines using SSIS or related tools.
• Ensure database performance, reliability, and security through proactive monitoring and optimization.
• Conduct data troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and data quality checks.
• Develop and maintain documentation for database structures, processes, and procedures.
• Support data migration, integration, and transformation projects.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards.
