Job summary

OCBC Bank in Singapore is looking for a hands-on Data Engineer to build secure, scalable data pipelines and data products that enable actionable risk insights across the Group. You will collaborate with risk, business and technology stakeholders to transform structured and unstructured data into production-grade datasets using Talend, SQL, Python and Spark, while adhering to secure-by-design principles.

The role emphasizes delivery, production support and documentation to ensure reliable data

Qualifications

Minimum 6 years of hands-on data engineering experience.
Experience in risk management and project management is advantageous.
Strong background in Teradata/Oracle SQL/PL/SQL.
Proficiency with data modeling and modern data transformation techniques.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance data pipelines and system architecture.
Create and maintain data pipelines to ingest from varied data sources via Talend.
Define and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Support deployment and production onboarding of applications using data pipelines.
Collaborate with stakeholders across requirements, UAT, deployment and warranty support.
