Job summary

HSBC Life (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Investment Services to manage the full lifecycle of ILP transactions and ensure compliance with investment mandates.

You will review workflows to improve efficiency and mitigate risks, while coordinating with CIO, investment teams and external fund managers. The role requires strong Excel skills, a solid understanding of local regulations, and experience in investment operations within a financial services setting.

Qualifications

• University degree; CFA is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of MAS Notice 307 and Securities and Futures Act.
• Solid understanding of equities, fixed income, alternatives and derivatives.
• Excellent Excel skills and data analysis abilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute full lifecycle of ILP transactions, including orders, settlements, NAVs and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with investment mandate and internal controls.
• Review workflows to improve efficiency and mitigate errors.
• Prepare and review portfolio accounts and fund manager onboarding.
• Maintain relationships with CIO, Investment team, fund managers, and HSBC subsidiaries; liaise with auditors.
