Job summary

Tyson Jay Management is seeking a proactive Resource Planner to coordinate AV installation projects in Singapore. You will schedule technician deployment, forecast demand with project managers, and reallocate manpower as priorities shift, ensuring efficient utilization of resources across multiple sites.

The role requires strong planning, problem-solving, and independent work with Excel proficiency, plus 3+ years in a relevant environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in resource planning, project coordination, installation, AV systems integration or a similar construction project environment.
• Ability to assess site requirements and plan manpower, skillsets and materials across concurrent projects; AV installation knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Strong planning, problem-solving and coordination skills; comfortable using schedules, material lists, inventory records and Excel, and able to work independently.
• A relevant Engineering, Electronics, Electrical or AV diploma is preferred. Experienced technicians, site supervisors and engineers seeking a planning role are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Schedule technician deployment against project timing, site needs and skill requirements.
• Work with project managers and engineers to forecast upcoming resource demand.
• Reallocate manpower when site conditions, schedules or project priorities change.
• Monitor utilisation and address resource shortages, clashes and inefficiencies.
• Estimate the types and quantities of installation materials needed for each project.
• Check stock and raise purchase requirements with Operations to maintain suitable inventory.
• Allocate materials to projects and prepare site requirements while limiting shortages and waste.
• Assess technician skill gaps and recommend relevant technical, product and safety training.
