Job summary

Singapore Management University in Singapore is seeking an experienced AV Project Manager for the Office of Integrated Information Technology Services (IITS). You will lead end-to-end AV deployments, including Smart Classrooms, meeting rooms, and auditoriums, from conceptualization through commissioning.

Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, vendor management, and documentation; ensuring hybrid-ready, Zoom Rooms and Teams Rooms integrations; and delivering real-time support for faculty

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in electronics/AV tech with 5+ years in AV deployment.
• Certifications such as AVIXA, PMP or CTS are advantageous.
• Proven track record managing large-scale AV deployments.
• Strong knowledge of AV signal flow, display systems, mics and speakers.
• Familiarity with HDMI/SDI, AV over IP and classroom integration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end AV deployments for classrooms, meeting rooms and auditoriums.
• Develop project plans, scopes, schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors; ensure safety and timelines.
• Lead system design for hybrid-ready environments and room integration.
• Perform UAT, create documentation, and hand off to operations.
• Provide training and ongoing support for staff and faculty.
