Job summary

Moove AV in Singapore is seeking an AV Safety Driver Instructor to train, evaluate, and certify Safety Operators before they operate on public roads. The role also involves guiding the instructor pool, ensuring consistency in training delivery and assessments.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Class 3/3A license with at least five years of driving experience, strong English communication, and a track record in safety-critical training.

Qualifications

• Valid Singapore Class 3/3A license held for 5+ years.
• Experience as a driving instructor, trainer, or in a role with formal assessment responsibilities.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Eligible to travel internationally for up to 8 weeks for initial training.
• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and driving history review.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate driving practices to the highest standard as the benchmark for trainees.
• Deliver behind-the-wheel instruction at up to a 3:1 trainee-to-instructor ratio.
• Assess competency and determine readiness to progress with remediation or removal when needed.
• Provide direct, constructive feedback while maintaining safety standards.
• Mentor driver-instructors during large training classes to ensure consistency.
• Maintain training logs, assessment records, and incident documentation for audits.
• Flag safety concerns and participate in safety reviews and program evaluations.
