Job summary

Maybank Singapore seeks a proactive Relationship Manager to develop and manage relationships with automotive dealers, delivering suitable business financing solutions including Floor Stock and Block Discounting. This role aims to grow the AFHP portfolio and market share in Singapore.

You will advise on financing structures, conduct credit analysis, and collaborate with dealers to meet revenue targets while ensuring regulatory and internal policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Banking, Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of business financing products such as Floor Stock, Block Discounting Trade Facilities and/or Working Capital Loans.
• Experience in credit evaluation, financial statement analysis and credit proposal writing.
• Strong business development, relationship management and networking skills.
• Good understanding of financial statements and credit risk assessment.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, results-driven and customer-focused.
• Strong team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with automotive dealers, providing timely follow-up and resolution of enquiries.
• Identify and acquire new-to-bank customers through referrals, networking and market prospecting; deepen relationships via cross-selling.
• Advise customers on suitable financing solutions and prepare credit applications for approval.
• Monitor portfolio performance, conduct periodic reviews, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
