Job summary

SCIENTE INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced QA Automation Manager to drive quality excellence across software development initiatives. The ideal candidate will lead automation teams with expertise in regression, performance, API, and functional testing.

This role focuses on designing and implementing QA strategies, frameworks, and standards, ensuring compliance with industry and internal governance. Collaboration with BAs, PMs, developers, and product managers is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or Quality Engineering.
• Experience with test automation tools for regression and performance (e.g., Tricentis TOSCA, NeoLoad).
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies including Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD.
• Experience with configuration tracking, process validation, and risk compliance.
• Strong expertise in regression, performance, API, and functional testing strategies.
• Demonstrated experience in test planning and estimation, quality metrics governance, and defect lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Manage group of automation engineers from both regression and performance tracks.
• Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, frameworks, and standards across software development projects.
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, including functional, regression, performance, and API testing.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal governance policies.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, developers and product managers to define acceptance criteria and ensure test coverage.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the testing lifecycle.
• Lead initiatives to improve testing efficiency, reduce cycle times, and enhance product quality.
• Support agile software development practices and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, business analysts, and project managers to align quality goals with business needs.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of quality objectives.
