Exasoft Pte. Ltd. is seeking a skilled test engineer to drive quality across web applications.

You will specify requirements, design test cases, and implement test automation using Jira Zephyr, Selenium, and Cucumber in a dynamic agile environment. You will coordinate testing activities across SIT, UAT, and production, analyze business processes, write regression suites, and troubleshoot failures in CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in computing or engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in web applications test engineering.
• Experience with Agile SDLC and CI/CD processes.
• Knowledge of QA principles, methods and processes.
• Experience with web automation testing and framework development.

Responsabilités

• Determine requirements and specifications of applications or systems to be tested.
• Develop records on functional test cases, results, and test data via Test Automation and Jira Zephyr.
• Plan, estimate, prioritize, monitor progress and coordinate testing activities.
• Provide daily UAT status reports.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance test automation and execute regression suite.
• Analyze business requirements and processes through document analysis and workshops.
• Identify and document defects, tracking them to resolution.
• Work across SIT, UAT, performance and production environments.
• Troubleshoot test failures across application, automation framework, environments, and test data.

Responsibilities

• Determine the requirements and specifications of applications or systems to be tested.
• Develop a record on all functional test cases, results, and test data via Test Automation and also on Jira Zephyr.
• Performed estimation, planning, prioritizing, progress monitoring and coordination of testing activities.
• Provided daily reports on UAT testing status.
• Develop, Maintain, and Enchance Test Automation s, execute the existing Automation s in the Regression Suite.
• Analyse client's business requirements and processes through document analysis, interviews, workshops, and workflow analysis.
• Provide input into developing and modifying systems to meet client needs and develop business specifications to support these modifications.
• Responsible for Quality of application in multiple environments. (SIT, UAT, Performance and Production)
• Involved in the test scenarios, test case, test execution. (Unit, Integration, System, DB and Regression, defect review and test data Preparation)
• Troubleshot test failures across application, automation framework, environments, and test-data.
• Identify, document, report, and track defects, collaborating with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution and retesting.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in computing or engineering, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• An experienced test engineer with 2-5 years of experience in web applications
• Dedicated, committed, and resulted oriented team player with strong initiative and ownership.
• Good inter-personal and analytical skills.
• Familiar with Agile software development lifecycle.
• Familiar with Web Application Automation Testing Development and Testing techniques such as smoke testing, database testing, integration testing, white and black box testing, regression testing, system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of quality assurance principles, methods and processes.
• Knowledge of test automation principles, methods and frameworks.
• Able to independently analyse automation failures and implement appropriate fixes where required.
• Knowledge in functional test, preferably with domain knowledge of banking or financial sector.
• Comfortable working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Cucumber, Selenium.
• Experience with agile processes, testing within agile teams.
• Experience with executing software testing within CI/CD processes.
• Experience with BDD frameworks (Serenity).
