Job summary

MANPOWER STAFFING SERVICES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking a Software QA professional with 3+ years of software product development experience. You will collect requirements, design test plans, and create test cases for features, while contributing to automation strategies and CI/CD practices in a cloud environment.

The role requires knowledge of Python/TypeScript/JavaScript/C/C++, and familiarity with Azure architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, EE, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in software product development environment.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile (SCRUM/SAFe).
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflow and tools like Jenkins, Git.
• Experience with cloud-based apps and Azure architecture.
• Experience writing test scripts in Python, TS/JS, C/C++.

ssential Functions

• Collects, contribute to and documents requirements for a feature and its components, ensuring the information required for the development of software and corresponding test cases are contained in the specifications.
• Develop test plans for new features or contribute to existing ones ensuring they meet the established product and process requirements
• Establishes a timeline and determines the resources needed to execute a test plan. Considers tradeoffs between requirements, speed, cost and coverage. Provides progress reports, as needed.
• Create test cases and related documents that meets the product quality requirements, including traceability.
• Creates test automation plans and automates required test cases.
• Conducts manual or automated tests, reports anomalies, and characterizes the anomalies properly based company quality criteria.
• Participate in reviews of requirement documents, test cases and user documentation.
• Build relationships and interact with peers to ensure assigned tasks are prioritized appropriately.
• Thinks outside the box and is willing to research and explore new avenues to overcome obstacles by utilizing the latest technologies and standards.

Minimum Qualification and Experiences

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of working experience in a software product development environment
• Knowledge on software development Lifecycle and experience in working in Agile software development Life cycle using SCRUM or SAFe.
• Went thru several SDLC for a software application.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflow and has worked in a CI/CD development environment and has used some of the CI/CD tools example Jenkins, Git.
• Able to apply knowledge of testing onto a cloud-based software product and have a basic understanding of Cloud base application architecture specifically Azure cloud architecture.
• Experience in writing test script using programing/scripting like Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, C/C++.
