Job summary

Trinity Consulting Services in Singapore seeks an experienced test engineer for web applications with 2-5 years of hands-on testing in QA processes. You will contribute to Agile teams, participate in CI/CD pipelines, and apply BDD/AT frameworks using Jira, Confluence, Cucumber and Selenium.

Banking/financial domain knowledge is a plus; strong communication is essential. Role requires meticulous testing, independent work, and familiarity with web app testing techniques and quality assurance

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience testing web applications.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in computing or engineering.
• Meticulous and able to work independently.
• Familiar with Agile software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of QA principles, methods and processes.
• Knowledge of test automation principles and frameworks.
• Experience with smoke, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
• Experience with CI/CD processes.
• Familiar with Jira and Confluence.
• Familiar with Cucumber and Selenium.
• Banking/financial domain knowledge preferred.

Job description

• An experienced test engineer with 2-5 years of experience in web applications
• Bachelor degree or above in computing or engineering, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be meticulous and able to work independently.
• Familiar with Agile software development lifecycle.
• Familiar with Web Application Automation Testing Development and Testing techniques such as smoke testing, database testing, integration testing, white and black box testing, regression testing, system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of quality assurance principles, methods and processes
• Knowledge of test automation principles, methods and frameworks
• Knowledge in functional test, preferably with domain knowledge of banking or financial sector
• Comfortable working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Cucumber, Selenium
• Experience with agile processes, testing within agile teams
• Experience with executing software testing within CI/CD processes
• Experience with BDD frameworks (Serenity)
