Job summary

Trinity-Consulting-Services-Pte.-Ltd. is seeking an experienced test engineer with 2–5 years in web applications to join our Singapore team. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work independently within an Agile environment.

You will contribute to test planning, execute a range of testing types including smoke, regression and integration, and help build robust automated test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber and Serenity within CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computing or engineering or related field
• 2–5 years of web application testing experience
• Meticulous and able to work independently
• Strong knowledge of QA principles and processes

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans for web applications
• Perform smoke, regression, integration and user acceptance testing
• Collaborate with Agile teams to ensure quality throughout CI/CD
• Create and maintain automated test scripts and suites
• Evaluate test results and report defects clearly

Job description

• An experienced test engineer with 2-5 years of experience in web applications
• Bachelor degree or above in computing or engineering, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be meticulous and able to work independently.
• Familiar with Agile software development lifecycle.
• Familiar with Web Application Automation Testing Development and Testing techniques such as smoke testing, database testing, integration testing, white and black box testing, regression testing, system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of quality assurance principles, methods and processes
• Knowledge of test automation principles, methods and frameworks
• Knowledge in functional test, preferably with domain knowledge of banking or financial sector
• Comfortable working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Cucumber, Selenium
• Experience with agile processes, testing within agile teams
• Experience with executing software testing within CI/CD processes
• Experience with BDD frameworks (Serenity)
