Job summary

Good co India in Singapore is seeking a senior SDET leader to define and drive the test automation strategy across products and engineering teams. You will design scalable frameworks for UI, API, mobile, and distributed systems and mentor multiple SDETs.

You will build automation using Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and Appium, and integrate tests into CI/CD with Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab, and Azure DevOps. Experience with cloud and DevOps is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in SDET, test automation, software engineering, or quality engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Hands-on with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, and test frameworks like TestNG/JUnit.
• Experience in API/rest, microservices, integration/regression, and performance testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5 to 10 years of experience in SDET, test automation, software engineering, or quality engineering.


• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.


• Expert hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or Cucumber.


• Strong experience in API testing, REST, microservices, integration, regression, end-to-end, and performance testing.


• Experience designing automation frameworks, test architecture, reusable libraries, and parallel/distributed test execution.


• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP, and DevOps.


• Experience with SQL, databases, Linux, test data management, mocking, and service virtualization.


• Strong understanding of Agile, SDLC/STLC, shift-left testing, TDD/BDD, quality engineering, and test strategy.


• Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring, architecture design, stakeholder management, and cross-team influence.


• ISTQB, cloud, Kubernetes, or DevOps certifications are an advantage.
