Job summary

Ideals Recruitment Pte Ltd is seeking a maintenance technician for a well-established electronic manufacturer in Marsiling, Singapore. You will perform maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair factory automation equipment to minimise downtime, with a 12-hour shift schedule.

The package includes a basic salary plus attendance allowance, shift allowances, yearly increment, and medical coverage. Training will be provided for all levels of experience.

Qualifications

• ITE or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Experience in automation or manufacturing is an advantage.
• No experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of factory automation and peripheral equipment to minimize production downtime.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, equipment verification and validation according to schedules.
• Support equipment upgrades, process improvement and continual improvement projects.
• Monitor equipment performance and collect data to identify areas for improvement.
• Troubleshoot equipment and machine issues with production technicians.
• Provide basic operation and troubleshooting training to production staff.

Job Scope

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of factory automation and peripheral equipment to minimise production downtime.

• Carry out preventive maintenance, equipment verification and validation activities according to maintenance schedules.

• Support equipment upgrades, process improvement and continual improvement projects.

• Monitor equipment performance and collect data to identify areas for improvement.

• Troubleshoot equipment and machine-related issues and work closely with production technicians.

• Provide basic equipment operation and troubleshooting training to production technicians.

Requirement

• Minimum ITE or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in automation, equipment maintenance or a manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
• No experience welcome, training provided
