Greentech International PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a results-driven Sales Engineer who blends technical excellence with commercial acumen to convert automation challenges into robust control-system solutions.

You will be the technical lead for client engagements, building lasting relationships with engineers and project managers, driving opportunities from lead to order, and collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to deliver value.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Application Engineer, or similar technical sales role, preferably within the industrial automation, control systems, or components distribution industry.
• Candidates with a strong technical background in control systems (e.g., Automation/Control Engineer) looking to move into a sales role are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within Singapore.
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations, proposals, and quotations.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales, managing the entire sales cycle from lead to order.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and new potential applications for our products.
• Work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and process challenges.
• Recommend and design appropriate control system architectures (e.g., PLC-based systems, HMI integration, network topologies).
• Provide pre-sales technical support, including product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and feasibility studies.
• Liaise with our technical team and principal suppliers to develop the best technical solutions for complex projects.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers, engineers, and project managers at existing and new client accounts.
• Provide regular updates and after-sales support to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Act as the primary technical contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.
• Collaborate with the internal sales, marketing, and engineering teams to align strategies and share market insights.
• Provide feedback from the field to management on product performance, competitor activities, and market demands.
