Job summary

JDA WMS Pte Ltd is seeking a Sales Engineer to provide pre-sales technical support and post-sales assistance in Singapore. The role involves promoting products, conducting demonstrations, and nurturing long-term customer relationships to drive retention and growth.

The candidate should have a Diploma in a relevant engineering field, at least 2 years in engineering sales, and familiarity with PLCs, drives, motors, or sensors. A Class 3 driving license is required, and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic/Electromechanical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in engineering sales, technical sales, or related field.
• Preference for experience in PLC/control automation, drives and motors, or sensor-related products.
• Possess a valid Class 3 Driving License. Training on products, applications and sales techniques provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales application support and technical assistance to customers and prospects.
• Deliver after-sales support, including troubleshooting and technical backup for products and solutions.
• Promote products through telemarketing, product demonstrations and sales activities.
• Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with customers for satisfaction and retention.
• Manage and expand sales opportunities within the existing customer base.
