Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Singapore seeks a technically skilled professional to manage ATE equipment, install and upgrade operating systems, and ensure cybersecurity and high uptime for semiconductor wafer sort processes. You will work with Windows/Linux/Unix and document support activities, contributing to a stable manufacturing environment.

The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, independent problem-solving, and coordination with vendors and engineers for system upgrades, with a focus

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics / Computer Engineering or related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor wafer sort and cleanroom environments.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience administering ATE equipment.
  • Experience with Windows/Linux/Unix operating systems.

Responsibilities

  • ATE equipment/tool Management: Install, configure, and upgrade new or existing ATE equipment operating systems and application software (Windows, Linux, Unix).
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of tools uptime and performance to meet organizational needs.
  • Maintaining cybersecurity of ATE equipment (Backup/Restore/Sealing/Anti-virus/User Accounts).
  • Working independently, strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for resolving technical issues.
  • Liaise with vendors and equipment/product engineer for system upgrade or system related issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical support and documentation.

YOUR ROLE
  • ATE equipment/tool Management: Install, configure, and upgrade new or existing ATE equipment operating systems and application software (Windows, Linux, Unix)

Your Skills & Experiences
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics / Computer Engineering or related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant working experience in semiconductor wafer sort and cleanroom environment
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in administrating ATE equipment
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in Windows/Unix/Linux operating system
  • Experience on Teradyne/SPEA/ADVANTEST would be a plus
