Job summary

STMicroelectronics Asia Pacific Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a hands-on engineer to manage and upgrade ATE equipment and software, ensuring uptime and performance. You will work with Windows, Linux and Unix systems, and coordinate with vendors for system upgrades.

You should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering and 1–3 years in semiconductor wafer sort/cleanroom environments. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential to support global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics / Computer Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant working experience in semiconductor wafer sort and cleanroom environment.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in administrating ATE equipment.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in Windows/Unix/Linux operating system.

Responsibilities

• ATE equipment/tool Management: Install, configure, and upgrade new or existing ATE equipment operating systems and application software (Windows, Linux, Unix)
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of tools uptime and performance to meet organizational needs
• Maintaining Cybersecurity of ATE equipment (e.g Backup/Restore/Sealing/Anti-virus/User Accounts)
• Working independently, strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for resolving technical issues
• Liaise with vendors and equipment/product engineer for system upgrade or system related issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical support and documentation

YOUR ROLE
