Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Singapore is seeking an experienced maintenance engineer to sustain equipment reliability, drive cost-saving projects, and provide tool-specific technical support to AME and line staff. You will translate engineering needs into preventive maintenance tasks and collaborate across production and central support groups.

The role emphasizes enhancing throughput, quality yield, and safe operation within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Electronics & Electrical; Master in related field preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment using schematics.
• Experience with STM32 or Raspberry Pi in FDC context is a plus.
• Capable of collaborating with production, IE, and central support teams.
• Minimum 2–3 years in current role.

YOUR ROLE

Working independently to maintain and sustain equipment reliability, robustness as well as maintenance cost saving projects , equipment process quality yield and throughput parameters.New tool commissoning

Provide technical support and expertise on specific tools to AME and Line Support Staffs.

Translates the Engineering needs into preventive maintenance tasks and work closely with them to achieve the overall committed targets in all aspects of manufacturing parameters.

Work with Production and Engineering reams in prioritizing and solving problems

Work with IE & Central Support group in equipment installation/relocation and OEE improvement projects.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Bachelor Degree in Electronics & Electrical Master degree in human resources, sciences or similar
• Competency & knowledge required to troubleshoot and repair equipment using schematic, for installation and commissioning of new equipment with equipment vendors
• Good to have experience in designing and developing solutions sensors via micro-controllers (eg. STM32) / Raspberry Pi computers as part of FDC (Fault Detection Control)
• Ability to engage in team discussion for equipment issues
• To sustain the equipment optimal performance at defined KPI complying safety requirements .
• The incumbent must be working in current position for at least 2-3 years
