Job summary

VIBTECH GENESIS PTE LTD is seeking a technically strong engineer to own automation systems from design to deployment. You will work across software development, documentation, system integration and field support, contributing to R&D and system improvements.

The role focuses on PLC programming with WAGO platforms, integrating sensors and devices, testing, commissioning and providing on-site support as needed. A degree in a relevant engineering field is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related fields.
• Strong hands-on experience in WAGO PLC programming or similar automation platforms.
• Proven ability to develop control systems and programming logic from scratch.
• Experience in industrial automation, instrumentation, or system integration projects.
• Ability to read technical drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Familiar with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus and Ethernet/IP.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to provide on-site technical support when required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems using WAGO PLC platforms.
• Program automation logic and control sequences from scratch based on project requirements.
• Integrate sensors, instruments, and field devices into control systems.
• Perform system testing, debugging, and commissioning activities.
• Prepare technical specifications for automation and control system projects.
• Review and interpret customer tender documents and technical requirements.
• Ensure alignment between project scope, design, and customer specifications.

• Provide on-site technical support during project execution and post-deployment.
• Work closely with project and engineering teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Participate in R&D of automation solutions and system improvements.

Key Responsibilities

PLC Programming & Control System Development

• Design and develop control systems using WAGO PLC platforms.

• Program automation logic and control sequences from scratch based on project requirements.

• Integrate sensors, instruments, and industrial field devices into control systems.

• Perform system testing, debugging, and commissioning activities.
  

Technical Documentation & Tender Review

• Prepare technical specifications for automation and control system projects.

• Review and interpret customer tender documents and technical requirements.

• Ensure alignment between project scope, design, and customer specifications.

• Provide technical input during proposal and tender clarification stages.

Project Implementation & Field Support

• Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation systems.

R&D and Solution Development

• Participate in research and development of automation solutions and system improvements.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Control Systems, or related fields.

• Experience in industrial automation, instrumentation, or system integration projects.
