Job summary

VIBTECH GENESIS PTE LTD is seeking a technically strong engineer to own automation systems from design to deployment. You will work across software development, documentation, system integration and field support, contributing to R&D and system improvements.

The role focuses on PLC programming with WAGO platforms, integrating sensors and devices, testing, commissioning and providing on-site support as needed. A degree in a relevant engineering field is required.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related fields.
Strong hands-on experience in WAGO PLC programming or similar automation platforms.
Proven ability to develop control systems and programming logic from scratch.
Experience in industrial automation, instrumentation, or system integration projects.
Ability to read technical drawings, specifications and tender documents.
Familiar with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus and Ethernet/IP.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to provide on-site technical support when required.

Responsibilities

Design and develop control systems using WAGO PLC platforms.
Program automation logic and control sequences from scratch based on project requirements.
Integrate sensors, instruments, and field devices into control systems.
Perform system testing, debugging, and commissioning activities.
Prepare technical specifications for automation and control system projects.
Review and interpret customer tender documents and technical requirements.
Ensure alignment between project scope, design, and customer specifications.
Provide technical input during proposal and tender clarification stages.
Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation systems.
Provide on-site technical support during project execution and post-deployment.
Work closely with project and engineering teams to ensure successful delivery.
Participate in R&D of automation solutions and system improvements.
Develop and prototype new control logic and system functions.
Evaluate and implement new technologies and industrial communication protocols.
