PRAXIS AUTOMATION FAR EAST PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an Electrical Engineer with onboard vessel experience to support Praxis automation products.

You will design and review electrical drawings, perform maintenance, and assist in testing and commissioning on site. The role requires a diploma and bachelor’s in electrical engineering, knowledge of ship automation, IEC 61131-3, and PLC programming. Qualifications

Diploma and Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
Onboard background or vessel system knowledge.
Electrical/electronic component knowledge preferred.
Able to learn and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in design and calculation software.
Experience in ship automation.
IEC 61131 (IEC 1131) knowledge.
PLC programming and troubleshooting using Structured Text.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
On-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Familiarise with Praxis products (PLC, control panel, sensors).
Design and review mechanical and electrical drawings.
Perform service maintenance and troubleshoot Praxis automation systems.
Onsite testing and commissioning of project systems.
Design user interfaces for system monitoring/control.
Collaborate with sales, clients and vendors during projects.
Provide commissioning/service for Praxis products on site.
Provide electrical and software support for Praxis equipment and systems.
Assist engineers to test new hardware/software prior to production and prepare technical reports.
Communicate and resolve equipment problems with the team.
