Job summary

Coalesce Management Consulting seeks an experienced Automation Engineer to support lifecycle upgrades and expansion projects in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical setting. You will contribute from requirements through design, testing, commissioning and handover, covering PLC, HMI and SCADA workstreams.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality and Validation teams, ensuring compliant, inspection-ready documentation and successful project milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Control, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Approximately five years of relevant industrial automation experience.
• Hands-on PLC/HMI/SCADA design, programming and commissioning experience.
• Experience supporting GMP, CSV/validation and regulated manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Support automation lifecycle upgrades for manufacturing expansion projects.
• Develop and review URS, FDS, I/O lists and control narratives.
• Configure and troubleshoot PLC, HMI and SCADA using Siemens and Rockwell platforms.
• Lead FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ, commissioning and qualification activities.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Validation and vendors to meet milestones.
• Maintain accurate engineering documentation and ensure data integrity.
